Position Overview
We’re looking for a creative and driven junior marketer to join a fast-paced, early-stage startup building next-gen AI-powered enterprise tools. In this role as our Inbound Marketing Lead you’ll work directly with the founding team to craft compelling product marketing content—video demos, blog posts, social media content, and more—to drive awareness, interest, and engagement. Based in the South Bay/San Jose area or fully remote with a strong fit, you will help shape the company’s go-to-market presence from the ground up.
Target Hiring Compensation: $35 to $40/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including education, relevant work experience, certifications, and location.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage product marketing assets such as video walkthroughs, blog content, email campaigns, and social media posts.
- Collaborate with the founders and product team to craft clear messaging that aligns with user needs and company vision.
- Help shape and evolve our content strategy, including social presence, newsletters, customer communications, and blogs.
- Contribute to growth initiatives across multiple channels including influencer outreach, partnerships, and thought leadership.
- Assist in building a content engine that supports product-led growth, user onboarding, and brand storytelling.
- Engage in both hands-on content creation and strategic brainstorming with the founding team.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of marketing experience, ideally in a startup or SaaS environment.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas and address user pain points.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Figma, Notion, HubSpot, or Webflow is a plus.
- Comfortable wearing many hats and juggling between content creation, campaign planning, and analytics.
- Based in the San Jose / South Bay Area or open to occasional travel for in-person collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest or experience in AI, tech, or knowledge management tools.
- Exposure to product-led growth strategies, including self-serve funnels and freemium models.
- A passion for storytelling and visual content, with a keen interest in current marketing trends.
