Position Overview
At Krayden Inc., a leading technical distributor partnering with the industry's premier suppliers, we deliver engineered solutions, customized support, and best-in-class responsiveness. We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Sales Representative (TSR) to support our Minnesota territory. TSRs are dedicated to finding, developing, and growing both new and existing customers. Please note this position is local to the Greater Minnesota area – relocation assistance is not available. Compensation: Base Salary: $65,000-$85,000 + Uncapped Incentive Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identifies and presents tailored engineered solutions for customer applications across a wide range of industries.
- Builds and maintains professional relationships with key customer personnel, including purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, and other relevant departments.
- Actively participates in sales meetings with Sales leadership, engages in Krayden and supplier-sponsored training, and attends industry-specific trade shows.
- Collaborates with both internal and external business partners to ensure customer needs are met and addressed effectively.
- Stays updated on specialty chemical solutions and leverages technology to efficiently manage the territory.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience; Chemical Manufacturing or Engineering preferred.
- Bachelor of Science degree in a technical or business-related field preferred.
- Industry experience or knowledge in Consumer Electronics and/or Contract Manufacturing is highly desirable.
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, and CRM software; Salesforce preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to work well with a variety of internal and external business partners.
