Job Description

Position Overview

As the world's largest sports and entertainment licensing company, Authentic connects strong brands with best-in-class partners. In the role of Brand Manager, Entertainment, you will lead the direction of Authentic's Entertainment brands, oversee global licensee relationships, and drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive brand performance:
    • Engage, inspire, and galvanize the organization around the brand vision so licensees can bring it to life.
    • Collaborate with key internal partners to own the vision, position, and architecture of your brands.
    • Manage and coordinate brand activity across business development, marketing, finance, legal, and other functions.
    • Maintain brand integrity across product lines, advertising, and all communication channels.
    • Work with the Creative team for asset development, partner presentations, and support materials on a global basis.
    • Oversee financial reporting for partners, including AR and royalty tracking.
    • Lead seasonal and annual forecasting to support budget achievement.
  • Manage licensee partner relations:
    • Consolidate and organize key business development tools for licensees (e.g., product catalogs, marketing plans, sales forecasting).
    • Partner closely with each licensing partner to understand their business models and product development cycles.
    • Act as a key liaison to facilitate relationships between licensees, retailers, and Authentic opportunities globally.
  • Drive brand development:
    • Collaborate with EVP, Directors, and other stakeholders to map out product and category strategies that grow the brand globally.
    • Build and maintain processes for internal communication, alignment, and timely delivery of initiatives.
    • Ensure excellent communication and relationships with talent stakeholders to support all branded initiatives.
    • Identify retail and product trends, prospective new categories, and distribution partners for global brand awareness.
    • Assist in negotiating new licensing agreements and participate in key sales and marketing presentations.
    • Identify NIL and endorsement opportunities to enhance overall brand perception.
    • Support global business development by conceptualizing new brand pitches, storytelling, and expansion opportunities.
    • Develop and refine consumer target segments using trends and data for category growth.
  • Facilitate effective licensing operations:
    • Participate in brand strategy discussions and help set a bulls-eye consumer target based on trend analysis.
    • Assist in overseeing licensing processes including product approval, SKU management, and photographer archive administration.
    • Manage legal operational support including amendments, contract renewals, customs clearances, trademark management, and other documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in merchandising, business development, brand marketing, or licensing program management.
  • Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) for daily communication with Spanish-speaking brand stakeholders.
  • Experience in talent management and/or brand building for talent is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or commensurate work experience.
  • Proven experience in brand management with a strong background in merchandising, fashion licensing, and global brand strategy.
  • Strong understanding of identifying and negotiating product licensing deals.
  • Experience managing licensing deals across various product categories.
  • Excellent research skills to stay up-to-date on trends in celebrity branding and product opportunities.
  • Hands-on experience with forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing royalty revenue data.
  • Exceptional communication skills – verbal, written, and interpersonal.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a bias for action.
  • Strong computer proficiency with working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to work well independently.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000
