Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Recruiter is a dynamic, adaptable, and organized professional responsible for screening, recruiting, and hiring exceptional talent for the Paycom team. With a solid understanding of Paycom’s business, policies, and technology, the recruiter specializes in matching the right person to the right position. This role is goal-driven and requires a strong sales and service mentality.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow defined processes around screening, movement, and dispositioning of an approximately 80/20 active vs. passive applicant pipeline.
- Maintain a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality with candidates throughout and after the hiring process.
- Communicate effectively with all parties in the hiring process, supporting the Team Lead and senior recruiters as needed.
- Manage pipeline activity, maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders.
- Utilize internal ATS, job boards (LinkedIn, Indeed, CareerBuilder, etc.), and other tools daily to source active candidates.
- Execute end-to-end recruitment processes for assigned Paycom departments to ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience.
- Partner with recruiting leaders and hiring managers under the direction of the Team Lead to understand hiring needs and execute custom strategies.
- Support the recruiting team in meeting goals and building additional sourcing and recruiting skills.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: Experience in screening, recruiting, or talent acquisition, or proven leadership/management in a metrics-driven environment. Must be able to handle a high-volume, fast-paced, and collaborative workload under direct supervision.
- Skills/Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to manage high-volume tasks in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience: Global recruitment and requisition management.
- Skills/Abilities: Confidence in dealing with people both face-to-face and over the phone, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, effective time management, and persuasive communication abilities.

- Compensation: Starting salary range of $75,000 - $90,000.
