Position Overview
Gamers Inc. is Orlando's longest standing and highest rated game store for over 15 years. We are very active on social media with among the highest engagement across any game store in Florida. We have successfully launched our new website – and things are picking up rapidly. We are looking for someone enthusiastic who is hungry to learn, grow, and has a strong knowledge of retro gaming and modern gaming.
Salary: From $15.00 per hour
Schedule: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
Location: In person
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding the perfect games, consoles, accessories, and merchandise.
- Conduct product demos to showcase new releases or popular items, enhancing the shopping experience.
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately to process transactions efficiently while handling cash and card payments with professionalism.
- Maintain attractive merchandise displays through merchandising and stocking efforts to maximize sales potential.
- Upsell related products and accessories by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable options.
- Manage inventory levels by stock replenishment and organizing back stock to ensure product availability.
- Thoroughly clean and test games and consoles.
- Provide friendly phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely, ensuring clear communication.
- Reliably cover store operations as needed by management.
- Pull, pack, and fulfill orders ASAP, and pack orders to be dropped off at couriers.
- Conduct game and console trades in accordance with management protocol, ensuring items being purchased from sellers are in good condition and working order.
- Respond to trade requests, website email inbox, and Meta suite messages in a timely and professional manner.
- Take on new and innovative projects as needed.

- Previous POS/Cash Handling experience.

- Theater/Social Media presenting experience is a plus.
- Great social skills and ability to build positive interactions and relationships with customers.
- Eagerness to learn and grow.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred, especially in a game store or similar environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers confidently and effectively.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customer needs better.
- Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and basic math for accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of retro and modern gaming products, merchandising techniques, and stock management is necessary.
- Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with phone etiquette and upselling strategies to enhance customer interactions.
- Experience performing through theater/social media is a plus.
- Understanding of website demands such as accurate inventory management processes.
- Quality packing and shipping experience.
