Loan Set-Up/Opener

Position Overview

The Loan Setup / Opener ensures that all loan documentation is complete, accurate, verified, and compliant with company policy and Federal and State regulations. In this role, you will order third‐party items and prepare mortgage files for processing while reviewing documentation before submission to Underwriting. Key Responsibilities

• Determine if critical documents per the loan submission checklist are present.
• Issue NOIA (when applicable) and make applicable notes to extend communications.
• Manage all tasks within a 24-hour SLA.
• Index the full file and perform USPS and SSN checks.
• Update all contacts in LOS (AM, AE) and run LSFM.
• Order FHA Case Number (if applicable) and meet threshold requirements of processing 15 new files daily.

• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Demonstrate a professional level of customer service skills.
• Must work well independently and be self-motivated.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Benefits & Perks

• Compensation: Starting base hourly pay range is $21.00 - $25.00 per hour, dependent on work experience, business needs, market demands, and other factors.
