Job Description

Position Overview

The Contractor, Audience Management on the Audience Management Team is responsible for developing and managing audiences based on defined business objectives for channel marketing. This role involves understanding business needs, applying industry best practices, designing audience strategies, sizing target populations, and ensuring stringent quality control while coordinating timely delivery. Compensation: The hourly pay rate range for this position is $60.00 – 80.00 per hour; placement will vary based on responsibilities, geographic location, relevant experience, and other factors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audience Strategy & Design: Collaborate with marketing and business partners to understand audience requirements and shape data-driven solutions.
  • Audience Execution & Management: Build both single-use and scalable, reusable audiences; institute robust quality control checks; and deliver audiences via the appropriate Customer Data Platform while coordinating with channel and business partners.

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree required; an MBA is desired.
  • 5+ years of experience in areas such as audience/campaign management, database marketing, customer segmentation, data mapping, or customer data platform implementation.
  • Experience working with data & analytics and technology teams to launch innovative marketing initiatives in large and/or regulated companies.
  • Proficiency in working with structured databases and fluency in SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Customer Data Platforms (preferred: SimonAI, Twilio Segment) and the ability to transition from planning to practical audience development.
  • Adept at integrating multiple data sources and connecting datasets effectively.
  • Experience in partnering with marketing teams to design and implement targeted campaigns, including working with major platforms such as Salesforce (CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud), Adobe, and Google.

  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, program management skills, and the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical partners.
  • Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, change-driven environment and lead team members through change.

Team Overview

This role is part of the Marketing Channels Team, which leads the strategy, performance, and personalization of all marketing channels. The team is a key component of the broader Marketing and Social Platforms Team, led by the firm’s CMO, and collaborates closely with the Journey Orchestration Team to transform go-to-market approaches.
