Baltimore City Community College (BCCC), founded in 1947 and located in West Baltimore, is a comprehensive urban institution accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. BCCC serves over 7,500 students annually from over 50 nations, offering degree, certificate, and continuing education programs. The College is currently seeking an Adjunct Faculty member in the BSTEM department.

This opportunity offers you the chance to contribute to both classroom teaching and digital instructional design, ensuring that students receive a robust and supportive learning experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach intermediate to advanced courses in Cyber Security and Awareness using a Master Syllabus.
- Design and deliver class sessions leveraging digital content and multi-media resources.
- Assess student engagement and understanding during each class session through assignments, quizzes, and discussions.
- Maintain, update, and place the syllabus and course materials on Canvas, including setting up online courses when relevant.
- Create new digital instructional materials and use evidence-based resources to enhance teaching.
- Provide academic advice, guidance, and ongoing support to ensure student success.
- Submit grades on time via the faculty portal and communicate with students via email, phone, or online discussion.
Required Qualifications
- Master Degree in Cyber Security or another related IT field.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Academically qualified per ACBSP standards in the field of management with teaching experience in multiple formats.
- Experience teaching in a Community College or possessing collegiate teaching experience.
