Position Overview

Paper Machinery Corporation (PMC) is seeking a strategic, technically adept Marketing Manager to lead and execute integrated marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue growth. This role is ideal for a marketing leader who understands industrial equipment, technical products, and complex sales cycles. Note: This is NOT a graphic designer role and is NOT a software-only marketing position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic marketing plans aligned with short- and long-term business goals
  • Lead the rollout of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, trade shows, events, and PR
  • Own and optimize SEO strategy to increase organic visibility and qualified website traffic
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and technical teams to ensure cohesive and accurate messaging
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to guide positioning and campaign strategy
  • Track performance metrics, analyze data, and optimize campaigns for ROI
  • Manage and mentor one direct report, providing feedback, goal setting, and professional development
  • Produce or support video and photography content, including on-site filming
  • Plan and support trade show visuals and brand experiences
  • Track and manage marketing budgets

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • Experience Required: 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.)
  • Proven ability to build and execute marketing strategies from concept to launch
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills
  • Ability to lead, manage, and develop a direct report
  • Comfortable working with technical concepts and basic programming
  • Strategic thinker who can execute, analyze, and optimize campaigns

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience marketing industrial equipment, machinery, or technical products
  • Ability to translate technical and engineering concepts into compelling marketing content
  • Basic programming knowledge (SQL, Python)
  • Experience marketing industrial machinery or capital equipment
  • Willingness to travel within North America for on-site video and content creation
