Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Financial Analyst II to join our Finance Team in Puerto Rico under the Finance & Legal department. In this role, you will translate large and complex data sets into meaningful business insights to drive revenue growth while controlling for risk. You will support both our Payments and Financial Planning & Analysis teams and work cross-functionally to achieve the company’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large quantities of data related to payment acceptance, chargebacks, fraud rates, and other payment performance metrics.
- Monitor and forecast metrics and predict customer behaviors through data analysis and modeling.
- Develop materials and metrics for senior management presentations, discussions, and reviews.
- Understand the key drivers of company KPIs (e.g., conversion rate, lifetime value, cost per acquisition, risk rate) through financial modeling.
- Review and recommend strategies for payment processor allocation to drive revenue growth.
- Assess deviations from key metric targets and provide insights to business and finance leaders.
- Recommend improvements to operations and system enhancements.
Required Qualifications
- Finance or other Analytical degree required.
- 2+ years of work experience in an analytical role such as finance or business analytics.
- Experience in building complex financial models and conducting both quantitative and qualitative financial analyses.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with SaaS and/or online subscription-based companies is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience presenting analysis to senior executives and acting as a business partner across departments.
- Previous experience in Payments is a plus.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as SiSense or Tableau.
- Proficiency in SQL queries and working with relational databases.
