Software QA Tester (100% remote role in EMEA)

Position Overview

Testlio is a leading quality management company that combines human expertise and advanced technology to ensure quality across digital products on a global scale. This100% Remoteopportunity is available for candidates residing in the EMEA region. The role is centered on functional and ticket testing over a 12‑month project, operating on a 40‑hour work week with 3 to 4 overlapping hours with EDT. Please note that due to ourcompensationstrategy, applicants from high cost‑of‑living regions such as Benelux, DACH, France, Nordics, or the UK will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute ticket testing on mobile (iOS & Android), web, and desktop platforms.
• Reproduce and analyze issues identified during testing.
• Document and report test results including bugs and potential risks, and communicate findings clearly to the development team and stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely and directly with the client to ensure testing requirements are met.
• Provide feedback on outdated, incomplete, or inefficient test cases.
• Stay updated with industry trends and software testing methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Software Tester or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Jira, BugZilla, TestRail, Xray).
• Experience with mobile and web applications including frontend and backend testing.
• Ability to identify, document, and communicate software bugs effectively.
• Proven experience working in agile teams and a remote environment, with effective collaboration skills.
• Sound knowledge of SDLC and primary testing categories such as functional and regression testing.
• Exposure to accessibility testing and test automation frameworks or tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English, strong analytical abilities, and keen attention to detail.
