Position Overview

We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Strategic Energy Management (SEM) Coach. In this role you will work closely with energy teams in commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities to identify, evaluate, and implement energy efficiency initiatives through group workshops and one-on-one coaching. The goal is to help organizations apply continuous improvement principles to their energy management practices while delivering engaging, interactive, and results-driven sessions.
Compensation: Targeted $50-$53 per hour, Compensation Range $35.00 - $58.20 CAD Hourly.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibilities: Motivate and coach plant/facility management and teams.
- Guide the development of overall continuous improvement plans.
- Lead dynamic, interactive group workshops and one-on-one coaching events that inspire participation and drive action.
- Create an engaging atmosphere that energizes groups and individuals and fosters collaboration.
- Facilitate training sessions and other one-on-one events.
- Analyze performance of industrial processes using monitoring equipment and statistical analysis.
- Write reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Assist in site walk-throughs to identify energy savings opportunities and develop site improvement plans.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in energy management, sustainability, or utility programs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Environmental Engineering.
- Requirements: Must be fluently bilingual in English and French and able to travel throughout New Brunswick.
- Experience facilitating interactive workshops, trainings, or presentations in professional settings.
- Direct experience with energy efficiency in commercial, industrial, or institutional environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated success with change management, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement frameworks.
- Background in coaching and team facilitation.
- Qualifications: Certified Energy Manager designation is a strong asset.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation abilities.
