Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role is essential in providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a solid understanding of financial processes, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in account analysis and maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Utilize financial software such as QuickBooks for budgeting and reporting purposes.
- Provide clerical support including data entry, document preparation, and filing.
- Collaborate with team members on governmental accounting projects as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while managing administrative tasks.
- Support the preparation of reports and presentations as required.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial software, particularly QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of budgeting processes and technical accounting principles.
- Experience with account analysis and bank reconciliation.
- Excellent typing skills, including 10 key typing proficiency.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Compensation
Pay: From $19.76 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
