Lockheed Martin Space is seeking an Early Career Cyber Security Engineer Intern for the a DoD Program located in Colorado Springs Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate systems and designs to determine cybersecurity characteristics.
• Conduct system configuration hardening (e.g. DISA STIGs).
• Identify and conduct cybersecurity testing and risk analysis at the system and component level.
• Communicate assessment results.

Requirements

• Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program from an accredited college in Cybersecurity or a related discipline.
• Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Windows or Linux (e.g. Red Hat, Ubuntu).
• Scripting (e.g. Python, shell/bash, PowerShell).
• Risk Management.
• DoD 8140.01/8570.01-M IAT I or IAT II certification (e.g. Security +).
