Position Overview
VP-Marketing for a fast-growing provider of open-source business intelligence tools. Location: Austin. The Company is seeking a VP of Marketing to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing the marketing strategy, with a focus on building a repeatable and scalable go-to-market motion. This role is pivotal in articulating the company's unique value proposition to its user base, which includes developers, data analysts, and teams. A hands-on approach is essential as the role involves moving key marketing initiatives forward while building and leading a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute the overall marketing strategy to build a scalable go-to-market motion.
- Articulate and communicate the company’s unique value proposition to diverse audiences.
- Drive content creation, community engagement, and social strategies to generate public conversations and build an engaged following.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams while instilling a culture of quantitative rigor and fostering creativity and experimentation.
- Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing marketing team.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record in developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
- Experience in a scaling startup and product-led growth environment.
- Deep understanding of open-source software, data analytics, and related technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage both strategic and operational aspects of marketing initiatives.
