Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT professional to manage, administer, and support internal systems, networks, and Point of Sale (POS) systems for a restaurant environment. This role is instrumental in ensuring system efficiency, maintaining uptime for both IT infrastructure and POS operations, and providing effective first-line support. In order to be considered, you MUST have previous restaurant IT experience to ensure you understand the unique challenges of this industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Systems & Network: Maintain internal system and application efficiency and uptime; perform application maintenance, system upgrades, security configurations, installation of network devices, analyze logs, and update tools such as the Google suite.
- POS Administration: Manage, administer, and support Toast Point of Sale systems and related applications; oversee daily configurations, integrated application setups, reporting, vendor coordination, technical documentation, licensing, and ensuring system integrity.
- IT Support: Provide first-line IT support via multiple channels; manage tickets through JIRA; assist with hardware and device management; update menus and dish recipes; administer user accounts and troubleshoot hardware/software issues; and maintain comprehensive documentation and checklists for operational and system processes.
- Additional Duties: Adapt to procedural changes, assist on special projects, comply with safety, security, EVS, and guest experience standards, and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in systems administration, network management, and IT support in a restaurant environment.
- Experience with Toast POS systems, including configuration, troubleshooting, and administration.
- Knowledge of M365 licensing, GPO creation, Microsoft products, IP networking, CLI scripting, LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN, and advanced firewall configurations.
- Excellent planning, prioritization, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Paycom, ChefX, and CC camera setup and management.
