Position Overview
Are you ready to swing into a new adventure? At our bustling zoo, we’re searching for a brave and brilliant IT Manager – the next Keeper of the Digital Wilds. This role positions you at the heart of our Information Technology department where you will install and maintain networks, hardware, software, telephony systems, and content delivery networks while leading a tech‑savvy team. Employment Status: Full-Time; FLSA Status: Exempt; Direct Supervisor: CTO; Primary Work Location: Office setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage information technology systems including computers, telephony, servers, networks, content delivery network (CDN), and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems to ensure seamless functionality.
- Ensure technology is accessible and equipped with up-to-date hardware and software for zoo team members.
- Provide quality helpdesk and user support services.
- Support the maintenance and technological development of the zoo website.
- Build a culture of continuous learning and innovation within the technology team.
- Address cybersecurity threats proactively to protect company data and systems.
- Supervise the performance and professional development of technology staff.
- Lead with patience, empathy, flexibility, reliability, and positivity while representing the zoo professionally.
- Take ownership of team engagement, motivation, and morale in meeting the OKC Zoo’s organizational goals.
- Participate in conservation activities to support the zoo’s mission.
Required Qualifications
- Starting Annual Salary: $70,557.00 - $88,196.00
- Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the Information Technology field and at least three (3) years in a supervisory role.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, MIS, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possess a valid Oklahoma motor vehicle driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle background test.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
