Position Overview
Live Nation Entertainment, the world's leading live entertainment and eCommerce company, is seeking a Venue IT Support Representative for the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville, TN. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring a seamless IT service experience for venue administrative, operations and production staff. Key Responsibilities
- Provide onsite IT troubleshooting assistance to venue administrative, operations and production staff.
- Identify, track and help resolve persistent issues, ensuring that venue technology problems are escalated to the appropriate remote support teams.
- Act as an onsite liaison with remote IT support teams in troubleshooting reported issues with venue technology.
- Serve as the onsite contact and provide guided access for visiting IT service or support providers.
- Assist tour production by establishing artist internet connectivity or fulfilling the terms of artist/tour IT riders prior to and on show day.
- Manage deployment, inventory, and maintenance of onsite IT equipment including POS terminals.
- Develop and leverage a comprehensive understanding of venue network connectivity and deployed technologies.
- Participate in seasonal IT preparation, shutdown, and winterization, as needed.
- Support the extension of existing venue IT infrastructure or implement new infrastructure for special events such as festivals or private events.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in an IT or IT-related field.
- Strong oral and written communication skills paired with a professional communication style.
- Self-motivated with the ability to independently troubleshoot and reason through challenges.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Reliable team player able to work independently and under minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt to a constantly changing and sometimes stressful work environment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license, have access to a reliable vehicle, and maintain a clean driving record.
- Flexibility to accommodate evening, weekend on-call shifts, holidays, and extended hours for events and summer festivals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with and in-depth knowledge of Apple iOS, MS Windows, and network technologies.
