Position Overview
Join Stryker, one of the world’s leading medical technology companies, as a Sales Associate in our Sports Medicine specialty. In this role you will be the face of Stryker products – assisting Sales Representatives in promoting and marketing innovative medical technologies that enhance patient care. Together with our customers, we are driven to make healthcare better.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent Stryker as the face of our products in the Sports Medicine specialty.
- Assist Sales Representatives in the sales, promotion, and marketing of Stryker products.
- Educate doctors, nurses, and staff on proper product use, maintenance, functionality, and updates.
- Tailor Stryker’s promotional message based on customer insights and product knowledge.
- Negotiate pricing and terms while addressing customer questions and resolving complaints.
- Analyze market potential in your territory and prioritize call patterns accordingly.
- Adhere to field sales and in-house product training programs.
- Comply with physical requirements, including exerting up to 50 pounds of force when needed, and travel up to 20% overnight.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in an outside sales position (experience in medical-related fields is preferable).
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) required.
- Completion of field sales training and in-house product training programs.
- Must be a confident communicator, charismatic networker, strategic closer, trusted partner, and competitive achiever.
- Ability to communicate effectively with large groups and via telephone; proficiency with common office equipment.
- Must be able to drive an automobile and travel overnight as required.
