Job Description

Position Overview

MHI RJ Aviation Group (MHIRJ) merges the legacies of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and the CRJ Series program to provide comprehensive operational, engineering, and customer support solutions for the global regional aircraft industry. As the world’s largest regional aircraft support network, we are seeking a Technical Support Specialist with aviation or EmpowerMX experience to provide Tier 1 support for our maintenance operations platform. You will be the first point of contact for users, ensuring smooth system operations, accurate data, and exceptional customer experiences that drive maintenance planning, labor tracking, and safety. Work Location: In person.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the first point of contact for EmpowerMX users across our service centers.
  • Troubleshoot issues, document tickets, and provide Tier 1 support.
  • Train users on system processes, new features, and best practices.
  • Audit and maintain master data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Create simple tools and queries to help users extract and interpret data.
  • Collaborate with IT and vendors on system enhancements and upgrades.
  • Identify data discrepancies, suggest process improvements, and help optimize workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Aviation Management, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in SaaS or ERP support is helpful.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with data extraction.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to train non-technical users.
  • Commitment to data accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of aviation maintenance or MRO processes.
