Position Overview

MONITOR TECHNICIAN (PER DIEM NIGHTS) – Join Henderson Hospital, a distinguished member of The Valley Health System serving Southern Nevada. You will be responsible for the continuous monitoring and recognition of electrocardiographic telemetry in a dynamic acute care setting. Key Responsibilities

• Responsibilities: Responsible for the monitoring and recognition of continuous electrocardiographic telemetry.

Required Qualifications

• Schedule: PER DIEM NIGHTS
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; successful completion of a basic cardiac arrhythmia course or arrhythmia test provided by the Education Department.
• Qualifications: Basic PC knowledge and understanding of medical terminology.
• Qualifications: Current BLS certification and completion of a Cardiac Monitoring EKG course.
• Requirements: Demonstrated ability to provide age-appropriate care and service on the assigned unit.
