Position Overview
Annapolis ENT, a division of Chesapeake Specialty Care, is hiring a Remote Call Center Representative to work from home Monday through Friday. In this role, you will schedule all appointments and triage patient questions to the Physicians. Starting salary is $16-$18/hr plus benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments by verifying patient insurance information, demographic details, and reason for visit.
- Address emails and messages in a timely manner.
- Maintain a positive attitude during busy call hours.
- Call patients affected by schedule changes to adjust their appointments.
Required Qualifications
- Strong critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Highly effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including courtesy, resourcefulness, and efficiency.
- Computer/technology savvy.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Ability to remain seated and work on a computer for prolonged periods.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior call center experience, preferably in a medical office.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
