Job Description

Position Overview

Annapolis ENT, a division of Chesapeake Specialty Care, is hiring a Remote Call Center Representative to work from home Monday through Friday. In this role, you will schedule all appointments and triage patient questions to the Physicians. Starting salary is $16-$18/hr plus benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule appointments by verifying patient insurance information, demographic details, and reason for visit.
  • Address emails and messages in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a positive attitude during busy call hours.
  • Call patients affected by schedule changes to adjust their appointments.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Highly effective verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including courtesy, resourcefulness, and efficiency.
  • Computer/technology savvy.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Ability to remain seated and work on a computer for prolonged periods.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior call center experience, preferably in a medical office.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
