Security Officer - Data Center

As a Security Officer - Data Center in Location: Henderson, NV, you will safeguard clients in diverse industries including Tech, Media, and Telecom. This Full Time position offers Compensation: $21.40 / Hour and operates on the following Schedule: Thur 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Fri 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Sat 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM, Sun 10:00 AM - 02:00 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, contractors, and visitors by implementing security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the data center.
• Conduct routine and random patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access control points, verify identification, and document visitor and contractor activity in accordance with site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting hazards and policy violations as needed.
• Complete accurate reports and logs, and assist with security-related investigations and audits.

Required Qualifications

• Have a driver's license for a minimum of 1 year with the ability to pass a driving background check.
• Possess strong computer skills and strong customer service abilities.
• Must be comfortable standing and walking for long periods.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Access Control and/or badge experience.
• Data center experience.
• OSHA10 and First Aid certification.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification, which may be completed post hire.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
