Founding Software Engineer (Entry Level)

Position Overview

We’re building an AI-powered legal intelligence platform to reimagine the $350B enterprise legal market, one of the most underserved spaces for decades. Our team comes from Google, Meta, Airbnb, Amazon, top law firms, and startups — and we’re backed by top VCs. This entry level role (0-3 years of experience) is a critical position on our founding engineering team, responsible for building core technology and shipping features every day. Location: Hybrid in San Francisco (2–3 days/week in person).

Key Responsibilities

• Build full stack applications with Next.js, React, and TypeScript; split time roughly 50/50 between frontend and backend projects.
• Work across APIs and data workflows.
• Partner with product designers to deliver intuitive, elegant UI/UX for legal workflows.
• Experiment with prompt engineering to integrate AI capabilities into product features.
• Collaborate directly with founders and customers, shipping fast and iterating daily.

Required Qualifications

• 0-3 year of experience candidate; previous experiences at AI startups or YC companies are highly preferable.
• Hustler mindset; comfortable thriving in a fast-paced startup environment (50–60+ hours/week).
• Proficient in Next.js, React, and TypeScript with strong product sense.
