Java Frontend Developer Jr. (Remote Opportunity)

We are seeking a Junior Java Frontend Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will work under the guidance and supervision of senior software development managers, contribute to both Windows and web development environments, and create error‐free software code. You will also be responsible for writing software documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and participate in coding activities
• Collaborate with the development and production support teams to ensure applications work as expected
• Work with the project manager and technical lead to provide updates and progress on development projects
• Maintain and assist in documenting processes to support other development efforts
• Participate in Front-End (UI) Development using HTML5/CSS3

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
• Experience with JavaScript (ES6)
• Experience with one or more JavaScript frameworks: React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Familiarity with JavaScript testing frameworks/libraries (Cypress, Mocha, Jest, etc.)
• Experience with modern back-end development such as Python or Node.js
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment while meeting deadlines
• Strong communication skills for discussing technical issues and effective documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a government clearance
• Familiarity with Section 508/UI Accessibility requirements
