Schedule: Full Time.
Salary: $180,000 - $200,000 per year.
Education: 4 Year Degree.
Bullion International Group (BIG) is seeking a VP Supply Chain, Vaulting & Fulfillment Operations to provide strategic leadership over warehouse operations and logistics across the company. With locations in Oklahoma, New York, Switzerland, and Germany, this role offers global exposure and requires a leader with the highest level of independent judgment. The candidate must reside within a reasonable commute to downtown OKC and be flexible to travel to New York and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to fulfillment and logistics staff across multiple domestic and international locations, fostering an environment of goal-focused performance.
- Develop and implement a long-term vision for BIG's global fulfillment organization in collaboration with senior management and external stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional teams to plan, design, and execute new fulfillment operations globally through effective communication and strategic planning.
- Establish daily operational goals and metrics to ensure industry-leading service levels and efficiencies.
- Document and optimize processes, tools, technology, and resources for fulfillment operations and shipping logistics.
- Utilize capacity planning models and other tools to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee warehouse operations ensuring compliance with OSHA, safety standards, workers’ compensation, and other regulations.
- Set performance standards, KPIs, production goals, and processes, while resolving operational issues in collaboration with management and staff.
- Identify and implement best practices for inventory protection during transit, storage, or processing.
- Stay current on relevant laws, regulations, and market trends, including those related to import and export operations.
- Encourage professional development through coaching, mentoring, and performance management activities.
- Prepare and manage expense and capital budgets to meet operational requirements cost-effectively.
- Conduct performance reviews, training sessions, hiring, and other supervisory duties.
- Manage key projects to achieve critical business initiatives and objectives.
- Analyze customer lead times versus market averages and implement improvements to enhance customer value.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement throughout the fulfillment operations.
- Ensure proper safety plans and programs are implemented at all facilities.
- Lead freight negotiations tailored to the needs of BIG’s customers.
- Oversee internal logistics teams and manage third-party logistics (3PL) partnerships.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs.
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in fast-paced logistics or fulfillment operations.
- Working knowledge of supply chain management, including international operations and logistics.
- Understanding of business and management principles such as budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and HR.
- Ability to navigate complex team dynamics and mediate conflicts effectively.
- Proven initiative and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills with the highest level of tact and diplomacy at all organizational levels.
- Empathy and the proven ability to build strong, trusting relationships with team members and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the capability to prioritize multiple complex tasks independently.
- Extensive working knowledge of commodities operations including metals, risk management, and brokerage management.
- A strategic self-starter with a forward-thinking mindset.
- Highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to exercise independent judgment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree or related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and exposure to Tableau or Power BI.
