Truck Driver

Position Overview

Located in Jacksonville, FL with immediate hiring, Dot Transportation, Inc. (DTI) is seeking a dedicated Class A CDL driver who loves the open road. In this role, you'll pick up product from Dot Foods suppliers and transport it to customers and distribution centers, all while enjoying a flexible schedule (typically 2–5 days per trip with around 2 days at home per week) and diverse working conditions including all weather, weekdays, weekends, days, and nights. Enjoy a starting pay up to $95K (depending on experience and job type) and the respect that comes with a best-in-class team.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate top-of-the-line DTI trucks to transport products.
• Comply with legal and regulatory requirements set by the Department of Transportation and FMCSA.
• Load and unload dry and temperature-controlled goods (for jobs other than no-touch freight).
• Meet established company goals for MPG, fuel purchases, idle time, and speed.
• Read and understand load paperwork as well as product and packaging details.
• Identify and eliminate waste to optimize operations.

Required Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and reside within a 50-mile radius.
• Ability to safely lift an average of 14 pounds, and up to 60 pounds when necessary.
• Regular physical activity required (including sitting, walking, or standing during work hours).
