Job Description

Position Overview

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the Human Resources operations at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium, home of the Denver Broncos. They will utilize solid business acumen to assertively partner with the management team regarding HR, Staffing, ER/LR, policies/procedures, compliance, and general management topics.

Compensation: $75,000 to $80,000 based on skills, qualifications, certifications, and experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with operations to develop and execute a proactive staffing plan; collaborate with Corporate TA and stakeholders to ensure accurate job postings and consistent hiring events.
  • Manage year-round, high-volume applicant tracking from interview to hire.
  • Lead positive employee relations efforts.
  • Conduct annual review of compensation plans for all hourly employees.
  • Execute staffing and onboarding processes for both hourly and salary positions (including managers, professionals, and technicians).
  • Ensure compliance with corporate/district policies and federal/state regulations.
  • Communicate benefits, policy changes, and other HR-related updates.
  • Train and coach management/supervisory staff in interviewing, hiring, performance reviews, counseling, diversity, disciplinary measures, and regulatory compliance.
  • Participate in corporate-level projects alongside the HR Team and others.
  • Manage and report required HR business metrics, including diversity and labor market information.
  • Maintain accurate electronic and paper employee records.
  • Lead resolution of employee relations issues and conduct investigations as necessary.
  • Initiate and process progressive disciplinary actions across departments.
  • Conduct or facilitate training sessions for hourly employees (e.g., New Hire Orientation, TEAM, HACCP, ServSafe, FOCUS, On the Job Training).
  • Attend building safety meetings and Aramark safety meetings.
  • Track training and hourly paperwork while maintaining current employee files for audit purposes.
  • Develop and maintain Affirmative Action plans at locations.
  • Assist with Union contract negotiations and manage Union relationships, including handling the grievance process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred; ideally in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Human Resources Generalist role.
  • Demonstrated recruiting experience.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to work event-based hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
