Job Description

Position Overview

PBDW Architects is currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic full-time Marketing and Business Development Assistant to support its Marketing and Business Development departments. Reporting directly to the Marketing and Business Development Managers, you will assist with the marketing of existing projects and initiatives through content creation for social media, websites, and other marketing channels, while also coordinating events, managing databases, and supporting proposal submissions.

Location: New York, NY, US
Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 annually
Schedule: Optional hybrid work schedule with three days a week in-person mandatory

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead our social media campaigns on all platforms.
  • Maintain and enhance the marketing efforts for existing projects and initiatives.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposal submissions, qualifications packages, presentations, brochures, and decks.
  • Support lead tracking, client target list management, and monitoring of government/agency RFP sites.
  • Work under the direction of the Marketing and Business Development Managers to develop relevant materials.
  • Provide general office support for marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Lead or support office-wide initiatives and team building opportunities.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Fine Arts, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Experience Required: 2-4 years of marketing experience in related fields.
  • Personal interest in architecture, interior design, art, art history, or adjacent fields.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong client/customer service orientation with an understanding of marketing as a service.
  • High level of design sensibility and graphics capabilities.
  • Excellent writing skills and ability to organize documents and resources during production processes.
  • Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
  • Experience in managing social media platforms and creative, strategic content creation.
  • Experience with website platform maintenance and, preferably, photography equipment or photoshoot support.
  • An active interest in and knowledge of the cultural landscape of New York City.
