Software Engineer- Associate

Position Overview

As an Entry-Level Software Engineer at Visa, you will be integral in developing and maintaining innovative technology solutions that support Visa's core business operations. This role involves collaborating with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams to enhance the efficiency and security of electronic payments, contributing to Visa's mission of connecting the world through a reliable payments network.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the design, coding, and testing of applications that support Visa's payment processing systems.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and senior engineers, to gather requirements and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to the maintenance and enhancement of VisaNet, Visa's fast and secure network for electronic payments.
• Engage in agile practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to foster a collaborative team environment.
• Embrace opportunities for professional growth and skill development through mentorship and training programs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language or technology including Java, C/C++, C#, .NET, Python, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or Objective-C.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent college graduates with an undergraduate/masters degree looking to start working in 2024.
• Pursuing a Bachelor's/Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for technology.
• Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and collaborate with others.
