Job Description

Position Overview

Working with and reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Director – Global Supply Chain & Logistics is a key member of the Gideons International Headquarters Leadership Team. This Regular Full-Time, Exempt position, based at the Nashville, Tennessee International Headquarters, is responsible for leading worldwide initiatives for printing, procuring, publishing, and shipping Scriptures and merchandise while ensuring compliance with all approved policies and directives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage global supply chain and logistics initiatives for efficient production, procurement, and distribution of Scriptures and merchandise.
  • Oversee third-party logistics (3PL) networks and inventory management to ensure cost efficiency and timely deliveries worldwide.
  • Develop and execute strategic supplier and vendor management strategies, including effective negotiation with global partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of supply chain professionals to achieve high-performance standards.
  • Collaborate with international stakeholders and committees to align logistics strategies with the mission of Gideons International.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Gideon Member in good standing.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with at least 10 years in Supply Chain/Business Management.
  • Proven success in organizational management, negotiation, program budgeting, and fiscal management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills along with analytical and decisive decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications (e.g., NetSuite) with a demonstrated ability to learn new systems.
