Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities
- Will adhere to general work requirements in the hangar, shop, or off-site locations.
- Will perform maintenance on customer aircraft in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA/JAA regulations.
- Will inspect, adjust, repair, replace components, and correct malfunctions or deficiencies with or without power applied to the aircraft.
- Will access and re-install aircraft components obstructing the performance of assigned tasks.
- Will perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
- Will document work performed per Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM).
- Will assist with fueling and defueling aircraft as required.
- Will perform other tasks, including cleaning aircraft using approved methods and materials, and loading/securing ballast or freight.
- Will assist Aircraft Engine Technicians and Electronic/Avionics Technicians with troubleshooting and repairs.
- Will assist with repairs on detached components such as flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudders, doors, and leading edges.
- Will work on aircraft and in shops as needed.
- Will assist with complex repairs at on-site and off-site locations.
- Will support aircraft manufacturing for prototype and flight test aircraft at off-site locations.
- Will support production aircraft under the Production Certificate System.
- May perform Designated Inspector (DI) functions as qualified by QA.
- Will assist other employees within areas of qualification as needed.
Qualifications: Required Qualifications
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have an A&P license (preferred).
- Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience with aircraft electrical or mechanical systems (preferred).
- Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
