Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities

• Will adhere to general work requirements in the hangar, shop, or off-site locations.
• Will perform maintenance on customer aircraft in accordance with applicable technical data and FAA/JAA regulations.
• Will inspect, adjust, repair, replace components, and correct malfunctions or deficiencies with or without power applied to the aircraft.
• Will access and re-install aircraft components obstructing the performance of assigned tasks.
• Will perform basic mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
• Will document work performed per Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM).
• Will assist with fueling and defueling aircraft as required.
• Will perform other tasks, including cleaning aircraft using approved methods and materials, and loading/securing ballast or freight.
• Will assist Aircraft Engine Technicians and Electronic/Avionics Technicians with troubleshooting and repairs.
• Will assist with repairs on detached components such as flaps, ailerons, elevators, rudders, doors, and leading edges.
• Will work on aircraft and in shops as needed.
• Will assist with complex repairs at on-site and off-site locations.
• Will support aircraft manufacturing for prototype and flight test aircraft at off-site locations.
• Will support production aircraft under the Production Certificate System.
• May perform Designated Inspector (DI) functions as qualified by QA.
• Will assist other employees within areas of qualification as needed.

Qualifications: Required Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have an A&P license (preferred).
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience with aircraft electrical or mechanical systems (preferred).
• Must have the ability to read and interpret engineering documents and repair manuals.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
