VP, Product Management (AI & Analytics)

Position Overview

EDB provides a data and AI platform that enables organizations to harness the full power of PostgreSQL for transactional, analytical, and AI workloads. We are seeking a visionary Vice President of AI & Analytics to own the strategy, delivery, and commercial success of our integrated intelligent portfolio. Reporting directly to the CPO, you will drive the integration of AI capabilities across our products to create clear market differentiation. Candidate Note: This position is 100% remote for candidates based in the US.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the Integrated Strategy: Architect and execute a clear, market-leading AI and Analytics strategy that aligns with our overall growth objectives and ensures seamless integration of AI across every customer touchpoint.
• Elevate Analytics as the AI Foundation: Lead the evolution of our high-performance data and analytics offerings to serve as the trusted, scalable foundation for all AI and machine learning workloads.
• Drive Commercial Results: Develop and launch AI-powered products and features that address critical customer pain points and deliver clear, measurable business outcomes.
• Be the Industry Evangelist: Represent EDB at executive and media events and establish our reputation as a definitive Data and AI innovator.
• Build Strategic Alliances: Cultivate deep relationships within the Postgres OSS community, with AI researchers, analysts, and technology partners.
• Lead and Inspire Teams: Collaborate with Engineering and Sales to accelerate product delivery while mentoring and growing a high-performing product management team.

Required Qualifications

• Dual-Domain Expertise: Proven track record in product leadership, strategic growth, and commercializing AI-driven services.
• Technical Fluency: Deep understanding of the AI ecosystem (ML, GenAI, Vector Databases, RAG) and large-scale data analytics architectures.
• Results Orientation: Demonstrated history of launching integrated AI/Analytics products that deliver clear, measurable commercial outcomes.
• Executive Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling business strategies.
• Community & Network: Strong industry relationships and connections within the AI community, including key influencers and technology partners.
