With nearly 150 gear manufacturing machines under one roof, we serve demanding industries such as aerospace, space and defense that require precision, reliability, and technical excellence.

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who is ready to grow in a specialized, high-performance machining environment.

Position Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer plays a critical role in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for precision gear components. This position works closely with production, quality, and leadership teams in a high-mix, low-volume environment to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with AS9100 standards.

This is an opportunity to build expertise in the specialized field of gear manufacturing while contributing directly to process improvements and operational excellence.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed manufacturing plans and process documentation for customer components.
  • Analyze existing manufacturing processes and implement improvements.
  • Design fixtures and tooling to support efficient production.
  • Review quotes, purchase orders, and quality clauses to ensure technical compliance.
  • Lead or participate in lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to AS9100 quality standards and internal procedures
  • Communicate with customers and vendors regarding technical questions.
  • Maintain organized digital documentation and file management systems.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred).
  • CAD experience is required (Creo Parametric is preferred but not mandatory).
  • Strong computer skills including Adobe Acrobat Pro and MS Office products.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while simultaneously progressing multiple projects.
  • Strong communication skills with management, factory employees, and customers
  • Ability to read and interpret GD&T on customer and internal drawings.
  • Understand turning, milling, and grinding principles.
  • Self-starter and motivated learner with minimal supervision.
  • Basic proficiency in measuring tools such as caliper and micrometer.
  • Additional duties as requested

Schedule:

Schedule: Full time, Monday to Friday 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Pay and Benefits:

Salary will be commensurate with experience. This position includes a fully company paid medical, vision, and life insurance plan, a 401(k) plan with Company match, paid vacation, holidays and sick days.
