Position Overview

As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will work with a variety of data engineering and analytics tools and collaborate with product, leadership, and marketing teams to build modern, scalable batch and real‑time data pipelines that power critical business functions.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain modern, efficient, and scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Support existing processes and frameworks, including Agile methodologies.
- Define data models that fulfill business requirements.
- Process, cleanse, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
- Prepare development estimates and design documents.
- Adopt best practices and industry standards in data engineering and analytics.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree (4‑year) or MS in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- 4‑6 years of experience in a data engineering role.
- 3+ years of Python programming and SQL writing experience.
- Experience with AWS, Snowflake, SQL, Apache Airflow, DBT, and Kubernetes.
- Strong ability to develop ETL/ELT and automation scripts using Python.
- Experience with streaming data technologies such as EventHub, Kinesis, Redis, SQS, and Kafka.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies (CI/CD, sprints, frequent deployments, etc.).
- Experience in both relational and dimensional data modeling.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills for sharing findings in an actionable manner.
- Proven ability to collaborate with multiple partners and cross-functional teams.
- Strong teamwork, collaboration, and a willingness to listen with empathy.

- Compensation: Pay Scale $130,000–$148,500 and eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan.
