Full Stack Engineer (BE leaning) - GTM Automation (Transactable Marketplace)

Position Overview

At Salesforce, join our Transactable Marketplace (TM) engineering team to build groundbreaking, complex distributed systems that power frictionless partner sales, instant monetization, and unified commerce. In this full-stack, back end leaning role, you will work across 4 dynamic scrum teams in a hybrid work environment (Raleigh, NC or San Francisco, CA), leveraging AI to drive innovation and transformative business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and build distributed systems powering Frictionless Partner Sales to enable partners to create custom offers with flexible pricing and terms.
• Develop the engine for tiered licensing and feature-level entitlements to ensure Instant Monetization.
• Design unified commerce systems where Salesforce handles billing, payments, and compliance, delivering a seamless experience.
• Collaborate across multiple scrum teams and integrate systems from Digital & Emerging Technologies to achieve end-to-end functionality.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years (SMTS) or 8+ years (LMTS) of professional software development experience.
• Proficient in Java with a thorough understanding of SQL, PL/SQL, and relational database schema design.
• Hands-on experience with AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and automated testing using Java, JUnit, JSUnit, and Selenium.
• Excellent communication skills paired with a related technical degree.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building highly scalable web applications.
• Familiarity with Agile software development and test-driven development methodologies.
• Experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and web technologies such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
