Position Overview

Concordant LLC is seeking an Entry-Level Contracts Support Specialist to provide acquisition and contract administration support to a federal government client. This role is ideal for individuals with foundational federal contracting experience who are ready to grow their careers in government acquisition support. The position is fully remote.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review procurement and contract documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Identify and resolve document inconsistencies through communication and coordination
  • Read and interpret Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), agency policies, and acquisition directives
  • Draft and prepare contract-related documents and standard procurement forms
  • Assist with market research, including reviewing trends, conditions, and potential sources
  • Prepare and process purchase requisitions and procurement packages for Contracting Officer (CO) review
  • Support invoice review, receiving reports, fund status tracking, and contract closeout documentation
  • Assist with researching and preparing open obligations and undelivered orders for closeout
  • Provide post-award contract administration support to the Contracting Officer
  • Monitor Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs) to ensure contracted services meet requirements

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • At least one (1) year of federal contracting experience supporting government acquisitions within the last five (5) years
  • Experience must reflect direct involvement in federal acquisition or contract support activities

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to review procurement documentation for accuracy and completeness
  • Ability to communicate effectively to resolve inconsistencies
  • Ability to interpret federal and agency acquisition regulations and policies
  • Ability to draft contract-related documentation
  • Ability to conduct or support market research activities
  • Ability to prepare procurement packages for Contracting Officer review
  • Ability to assist with contract closeout documentation and payment processing
  • Ability to support post-award contract administration activities
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
