This position is responsible for the proper handling of all HR field issues for all LOBs, working collaboratively with Loss Prevention, Operations, Regional Sales Directors, District Sales Managers, and Asset Management to support our team’s success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Field Operations management in interviewing and assessing candidates for Seasonal DSMs, Zone Managers, DSMs, and store management.
  • Assess developmental needs and identify training opportunities while facilitating company training programs for consistent skill enhancement.
  • Develop recruiting strategies and staffing plans for store management positions and coach others in recruitment skills.
  • Partner with RSD and DSM on various HR matters as directed by the DVP of Field Human Resources.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate culture, store standards, and employment law/equal opportunity guidelines.
  • Provide guidance on staffing, employment law, salary administration, and company policies to both Home Office and field personnel.
  • Manage Human Resources processes that support overall business objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with database software, Human Resource systems, spreadsheet, and word processing applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently in a satellite location with minimal supervision.
  • At least three years of Human Resources experience as a generalist or in recruitment, training, and development in a multi-unit retail environment.
  • Strong understanding of management practices, the retail industry, and associate relations policies and procedures.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively; must possess a valid driver's license and passport.
