Position Overview
OptimizeRx is a digital health technology company that enables care-focused engagement between life sciences organizations, healthcare providers, and patients. As a Marketing Project & Event Specialist, you will serve as the central hub between marketing, sales, operations, and external vendors—ensuring that campaigns and events stay on track, risks are flagged early, and communication is clear. In this role, you will manage high-volume marketing deliverables and coordinate 10–12 industry and internal events annually in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage high-volume marketing deliverables including promotional campaigns, social media initiatives, content creation, and website updates.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules and timelines for campaign deliverables.
- Serve as the central point of contact between internal teams and external vendors, flagging timeline delays and risks while coordinating necessary adjustments.
- Organize status meetings, provide proactive updates, and distribute project recaps to stakeholders.
- Coordinate end-to-end event logistics for 10–12 industry and internal events annually—including vendor contracting, venue coordination, shipping, and onsite support.
- Lead pre-event promotions across digital channels, run internal team briefings, and develop attendee materials to ensure flawless event execution.
- Support tracking of project and event budgets, vendor renewals, and inventory management, along with other administrative marketing duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of project management and/or marketing experience (agency or in-house).
- Proven experience planning and executing both virtual and in-person events.
- Proficiency in managing multiple, complex projects with competing priorities.
- Solid understanding of common marketing deliverables and workflows (e.g., email campaigns, digital promotions, creative asset development).
- Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to see the big picture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear stakeholder management.
- A proactive mindset with experience using project management tools (such as Asana, Jira, or Monday) and marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred).
- A team player who thrives in a cross-functional and remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with social media platforms, strategy, and content creation.
- Skill sets in copywriting, graphic design, and/or video editing.
- Prior experience working in healthcare, pharma, or other highly regulated industries.
