Position Overview

GXO Logistics, one of the largest contract logistics companies in the world, is seeking a Non-CDL Driver in Jacksonville, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating equipment, transferring and delivering freight, and maintaining accurate documentation. Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate, transfer, and deliver freight using a box truck and/or other equipment.
• Move 26 ft. trailers in and out of loading doors.
• Operate material handling equipment to load and unload materials safely.
• Maintain required documentation including daily logs, vehicle inspection records, mileage, and shipping records.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and ensure proper load security.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and report malfunctions as necessary.

Required Qualifications

• Current DOT medical card.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 2 years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least six months of recent DOT regulated (CDL or non-CDL) driving experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including planned/unplanned overtime and weekends.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
