As a Director at Huron, you will collaborate with both Huron and client senior leaders to design and implement complex, sustainable solutions. You will lead teams, create customized solutions, and build strong, enduring client relationships that drive business development and outstanding performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently lead and direct teams in the delivery of complex performance improvement engagements, creating collaborative, high-performing work environments while addressing issues, removing barriers, and ensuring successful client outcomes.
- Manage engagement-wide economics including budgeting, invoicing, and billing, while effectively quantifying financial and operational benefits.
- Communicate exceptionally well by understanding client challenges, creating customized solutions, managing client expectations, and delivering impactful presentations and proposals.
- Build strong relationships and drive change management in complex environments, ensuring a smooth, multi-faceted change process.
- Provide team leadership through role definition, team building, coaching/mentoring, and performance management.
- Develop and maintain a professional network to identify and expand business development opportunities that align with Huron’s capabilities.
- Complete all assigned courses and compliance trainings as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% (Monday-Thursday with occasional onsite Fridays) and work extended hours as needed.
- Strong leadership and management skills aligned with Huron’s core values and competencies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to quickly establish trust and collaboration.
- Ability to train and participate in the professional development of Huron staff in project management and technical dimensions.
- Capacity to contribute on multiple projects of varying scale and duration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Direct supervisory experience managing both individuals and teams.
- 8-10 years of consulting and/or healthcare operations experience.
- US Work Authorization is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hospital operations directing department or team-based projects with a focus on process re-engineering, performance improvement initiatives, and change management, OR project leadership in a consulting firm setting focussed on healthcare supply chain services.
- Experience in cost and expense management within administrative and corporate functions (not required).
- Strong understanding of methodologies to reduce supply chain costs related to clinical supplies, physician preference items (PPI’s), GPO process optimization, strategic sourcing, and inventory management.
- Clinical leadership experience across various care settings, with a focus on care delivery optimization, redesign, talent strategy including workforce planning, and the promotion of innovative digital strategies to improve care.
Benefits & Perks
- Compensation: Base salary range: $170,000 - $215,000.
- Compensation: Total estimated compensation (including annual incentive): $212,500 - $290,250.
