As an Entry Level Automation & Controls Engineer (Start Summer/Fall 2026), you will join one of our 45 US offices and be part of a collaborative team of over 1500 professionals working directly with clients to deliver best‐in‐class manufacturing and automation solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Apply your knowledge of programming methods, electrical design, and engineering problem solving to 21st century manufacturing practices.
  • Design, program, and troubleshoot automated machinery and line control systems.
  • Travel to top clients across the country to assist in the design of manufacturing processes, help manage projects, and develop facilities.
  • Impact the world by conducting yourself with integrity in pursuit of individual and business goals.

  • Create user applications to monitor and control the production of consumer goods and satisfy regulatory agencies in compliance with modern industry standards.
  • Design control systems that provide instantaneous feedback on the production life cycle.
  • Design electrical control panels.
  • Design industrial controller (PLC) programs and develop human machine interfaces (HMIs).
  • Support BW Design Group project teams.
  • Make an impact day-to-day with your skills and expertise, strengthening relationships with clients and team members.

Required Qualifications

  • Ability to simultaneously organize and execute multiple project responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with effective interaction with management, clients, and vendors.
  • Willingness to travel for project requirements including installation, start-up activities, meetings, trainings, seminars, and conventions.
  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechatronic, mechanical, chemical, or computer engineering, or an equivalent technical degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Co-op or project experience with electrical engineering and PLC automation applications.
  • Co-op or project experience with semiconductor, data center, pharmaceutical, consumer products, and high-speed environments.
