Position Overview

As the Specialist, Logistics, you will play a critical role by monitoring drivers’ delivery activity, scheduling, and addressing delivery and routing issues while interacting heavily via phone with external customers and contracted drivers. In addition to managing billing and data entry tasks, you will help ensure seamless daily freight solutions for our global customers. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered to eligible participants (paid in two installments, subject to all applicable taxes; current employees and contract workers are not eligible).

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain phone communication between external customers and contracted drivers/couriers.
• Assist contracted drivers with delivery issues.
• Resolve customer issues, complaints, and answer questions.
• Monitor the progress of delivery routes.
• Perform customer billing and data entry tasks.
• Assign drivers/couriers to delivery routes.
• Oversee all unloading processes at the end of the day.
• Perform additional duties as requested.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role resolving issues and responding to customer requests.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a call center environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
• Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive under pressure while exceeding customer expectations.
