Retail Sales – Part Time

Position Overview

As a Customer Service Associate, you combine top-notch customer service skills with genuine care to help customers feel comfortable while shopping at Lowe's. In this role you will welcome customers, assist them in finding the right products for their home improvement needs, and perform various in-store tasks. Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers, answer questions, and deliver friendly, professional service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by replenishing supplies on shelves.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately to ensure timely receipt of merchandise.
• Cross-train in various store areas to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout processes.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer for tasks such as inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology, including smartphones and tablets.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Capable of performing duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other physical activities.
• Able to lift a minimum of 25 lbs unassisted (or over 25 lbs with/without accommodation).

Preferred Qualifications

• 6 months of retail and/or customer service experience.
• Bi-lingual skills.
• Certification in a trade related to the department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, lumber/building materials).

Compensation

Pay Range: $17.50 - $18.90 per hour. The starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including (but not limited to) position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
