Job Description
Position Overview
Responsible for the safe and efficient operation of welding machines to ensure quality parts are produced and delivered in a timely manner. In this role, you will operate, set-up, and adjust machines and equipment, as well as program and troubleshoot robotic systems to maintain productivity and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Operator will be required to set-up and adjust machines and equipment in order to produce an acceptable quality product.
- Will receive instructions, prints, and route sheets for the job and organize operational duties for the assigned shift.
- Will be required to set-up, operate, program, and troubleshoot robot systems (material handling, drilling, and welding) along with other robotic equipment in the welding process.
- Perform all required quality tests, certifications, and production checks as directed by Quality Assurance or the supervisor.
- Continuously inspect products visually, record production data, report scrap, and perform rework or additional duties as assigned.
- Make routine equipment adjustments to ensure efficient processes and adherence to company welding standards.
- Manually repair or hand-weld products that fall below standard due to tolerance variations during robotic operations.
- Operate equipment such as overhead cranes, forklifts, hand-held grinders, and other department machinery.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and ensure equipment is properly cared for.
- Collaborate effectively within the team to meet production and quality goals.
Required Qualifications
- Must be qualified and have successfully held a Certified Welder's job or its equivalent, either through experience or certification by a technical institute.
- 6G and/or pipe welding experience.
- Must be able to pass the AWS Certification Test per company welding policy.
- Must be able to use calipers, gages, and other measuring devices satisfactorily.
- Must perform SPC procedures and tests and interpret findings to adjust the process appropriately.
- Must be able to navigate the HMI (Human-Machine Interface).
- Highly motivated with a strong willingness to solve problems.
