In-Home Installation Technician

Position Overview

National Assemblers Inc. is seeking an In-Home Installation Technician to join our expanding, family-owned organization. As the nation’s #1 assembly company, we build the future with quality assembled products for major brands like Amazon, Walmart, Lowe’s, Leggett & Platt, and more. In this role, you will perform in-home installations and assemblies ensuring accurate work, excellent customer service, and a clean workspace.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive customer orders to complete installation or assembly jobs in customers’ homes.
• Communicate with customers to confirm all appointments.
• Verify work orders to ensure accurate product assembly or repair.
• Assemble products to National Assemblers’ specifications.
• Build strong rapport with customers and deliver quality service for 100% satisfaction.
• Ensure customers’ homes are left neat and clean.
• Complete follow-up notes in the NAI system after job completion.

Required Qualifications

• Problem solver: Proactively identifies challenges and recommends creative solutions.
• Skilled Professional: Background in carpentry, installation, or in-home services.
• Reliable Individual: Proven attendance record, self-motivated, and punctual.
• Excellent Communicator: Strong ability to interact with customers and handle difficult situations.
• Personal Attributes: Strong customer focus, positive attitude, motivation to grow, hard worker, willingness to travel, flexibility with scheduling, and a team player attitude.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds.
• Must have your own RELIABLE transportation for local and out-of-town travel.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License and auto insurance.
• Ability to travel regularly within a 75-mile radius and adhere to all safety guidelines.

Compensation

• Up to $35/hr
• Mileage reimbursement
• Overtime pay
