Position Overview

Our client is a leading player in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, recognized for its innovative product portfolio and commitment to consumer satisfaction. We are seeking a highly creative and results-oriented Brand Manager to spearhead new product development and brand strategy initiatives for an exciting range of products. This pivotal role will be based in Location: Cincinnati, Ohio, US and will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams including R&D, Sales, and Marketing Communications. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of consumer insights, a flair for innovation, and a proven ability to launch successful new products within the competitive FMCG market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of brand plans for new and existing FMCG products to drive market share and profitability.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and consumer analysis to identify emerging trends, unmet needs, and opportunities for innovation.
  • Translate consumer insights into compelling product concepts and actionable brand strategies.
  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation and concept development through to launch, growth, and maturity.
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns to ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with R&D and operations teams to ensure product quality, innovation, and timely delivery to market.
  • Oversee the P&L for assigned brands, managing budgets and optimizing marketing spend for maximum return on investment.
  • Analyze sales data, market performance, and competitor activities to identify areas for improvement and strategic adjustments.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, including agencies and suppliers.
  • Present brand strategies, performance updates, and new product proposals to senior management.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of brand management experience within the FMCG sector with a demonstrable track record of launching successful new products.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape of the FMCG industry.
  • Proven ability to translate consumer insights into impactful marketing strategies and product innovations.
  • Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing plans across various channels.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market performance metrics.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in standard business software (e.g., MS Office Suite).
