As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (MEP) based in Oakland, CA (Hybrid), you will join a dynamic team that values innovation, inclusion, and impact. Key Responsibilities

  • Engineer, select, and design HVAC systems.
  • Prepare HVAC drawings, perform analysis, manage specifications, and execute calculations.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and client interaction skills.
  • Oversee and mentor HVAC support staff.
  • Handle construction administration and site observations on projects.
  • Provide exemplary service to both team members and clients.

Required Qualifications

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 7+ years’ experience in MEP/AEC design and consulting.
  • Advanced knowledge of HVAC systems in public safety, educational, and commercial sectors.
  • Understanding of industry codes and standards.
  • Proven experience in client meetings and presentations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineering License.
  • LEED Accreditation.
  • Working knowledge of IES-VE.
