As our Chief Operating Officer reporting directly to the Head of School and serving as a key member of the senior leadership team, you will drive operational excellence across all non-academic functions. Your role is pivotal in managing complex systems, leading cross-departmental teams, and ensuring that our campus runs with the highest standards of safety, service, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Provide strategic oversight and daily leadership for school operations, fostering a campus culture of safety, service, and excellence.
  • Departmental Management: Oversee Facilities, Security, IT, Events, Health Services, Food Service, Janitorial, and Risk Management.
  • Systems & Processes: Develop, implement, and refine operational systems to improve effectiveness and accountability.
  • Strategic Initiatives: Lead major projects such as campus construction and technology upgrades from planning through execution.
  • Collaboration: Partner with school leadership and department heads to align operations with mission, educational goals, and long-term strategic vision.
  • Risk Management: Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements, proactively mitigating institutional risks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or higher preferred.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning within a school or educational organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex operational systems in a campus or mission-based environment.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed, with the physical ability to walk, stand for prolonged periods, and climb ladders.
