Position Overview

Are you an ambitious sales professional based in the Location: Indianapolis, Indiana and surrounding regions who knows how to stack the pipeline with new leads and close deals? Can you quickly learn technology and instill confidence in clients and prospects? If so, Expedient may be the perfect fit for you! We are seeking a driven Account Executive to join our team and sell industry-leading IT and cloud solutions to businesses throughout our combined markets. Compensation: Base salary between $90,000 and $120,000 per year, with uncapped commissions and on target earnings of $200k to $250k after ramp.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, target, and generate new business opportunities in the Indiana and surrounding areas.
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of leads and prospective clients.
  • Consult with companies on their technology needs, confidently presenting Expedient’s solutions.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure clients are fully supported throughout the sales process and beyond.
  • Focus on prospecting, forecasting opportunities, pipeline development, and closing deals based on individual and quarterly sales targets.
  • Forecast future sales based on trends and observations, and meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas.
  • Develop, prepare, and deliver sales proposals and presentations while partnering with a dedicated Solutions Architect.
  • Partner with Lead Generation and Channel Partner teams to generate leads and convert them into Expedient clients.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience Required: 8+ years of experience selling cloud solutions to businesses in the Indianapolis, Indiana business and tech community.
  • Demonstrated successful methodology for prospecting and lead generation to grow the sales pipeline of new business.
  • Proven track record in B2B technology sales, specifically within IT services or cloud solutions.
  • Aptitude for quickly learning new technology concepts and effectively communicating value to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent relationship-building and consultative selling skills.
  • Self-motivated, driven, and capable of working well independently while consistently exceeding assigned quotas.
